Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Flex and the sites it hosts use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. The choices available to you depend on your region, as described below.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, to remember your preferences, and—subject to the choices described below—to understand how our sites are used.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function. These cannot be switched off. They include:

  • Session / authentication cookie — keeps you signed in.
  • _fx_reg — records only your general region (for example, EEA/UK vs. rest-of-world) so we can apply the correct consent default. It contains no personal identifier and is stored for about one day.
  • Your cookie-consent choice, saved in your browser’s local storage so we remember it on your next visit.

Analytics

These help us measure traffic and improve the experience. How we handle them depends on your region:

  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: analytics cookies are set only after you choose “Accept all.” Until then, none are set.
  • Other regions (including the United States): analytics cookies are set by default to measure traffic, and you can opt out at any time (see “Managing your choices”). We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and “Do Not Track” browser signals as an opt-out.

The analytics cookies we use are:

  • _fx_vid — a randomly generated visitor identifier, stored up to 1 year, used to count unique visitors.
  • _fx_sid — a session identifier, ~30 minutes, used to group page views into a visit.

Managing your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you set your preference. In the EEA/UK/Switzerland it offers “Accept all” or “Essential only” (analytics stay off until you accept); elsewhere it offers “Opt out” or “Got it” (analytics are on unless you opt out). Your choice is remembered on future visits.

To change your choice later, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser and the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or enable a Global Privacy Control signal; doing so may affect how the site works.
