Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: June 29, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that Flex holds about you, including any data obtained when a business connects a Facebook or Instagram account to Flex. For a fuller description of how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Who to contact

Flex (operated by DF Consulting LLC) provides software to fitness businesses (“Customers”). If you are a member or client of a gym or studio that uses Flex, that business is the controller of your data and Flex acts as its processor.

  • If you are a member/client (End User): direct your deletion request to the business you interact with. They can delete your records directly, and we will assist them as their processor.
  • If you are a Customer (account owner), or cannot reach the business: email us at privacy@flexonline.net and we will action your request.

2. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your data, email privacy@flexonline.net from the email address associated with your account (or the account you believe holds your data), with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Please include:

  • your full name;
  • the email address and/or phone number associated with the account;
  • the business (gym or studio) you interact with, if applicable; and
  • if your request concerns data obtained via a connected social account, the relevant Facebook or Instagram username or page.

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request to protect against unauthorized deletion.

3. Data obtained via Facebook & Instagram

When a Customer connects a Facebook or Instagram account to Flex, we store limited data needed to operate the integration, such as account identifiers, access tokens (stored encrypted), and the content the business publishes or schedules through Flex. You can revoke Flex’s access at any time from the connected account’s settings:

  • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove “Flex.”
  • Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → remove “Flex.”

Revoking access stops future data sharing. To also delete the data we already hold from the integration, submit a deletion request as described above.

4. What we delete and timelines

On a verified request, we delete or anonymize the personal data we hold about you, normally within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Some data may persist in secure backups for a limited period before being overwritten. Data held by the business that uses Flex is subject to that business’s own retention practices.

5. Related policies

See our Privacy Policy for how we collect and use data, and our Cancellation & Refund Policy for how data is handled after a subscription is cancelled.
